The small Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Community of Christ congregation is seeking a relationship-oriented, outreach-minded pastor to grow the congregation both in discipleship and in expansion ministries. Fort Walton Beach is a rapidly growing town, located on the Gulf of Mexico and is home to Eglin Air Force Base, the world's largest air force base. It is a retirement mecca for seniors and an outstanding town for families with its schools (Okaloosa County School District) ranked number one in the state. The congregation is currently composed of primarily older persons who are very supportive, caring, encouraging, (humorous!), and willing to work with a pastor to grow their congregation.
